Financial Accountability
We are honored by your participation in this work. We pledge to stretch each dollar to best serve our residents.
You Have Our Promise To:
- Use your contributions faithfully and wisely to minister to those who are entrapped by poverty, hopelessness, and dependencies of many kinds in order to see lives transformed to hope, joy, and eternal life through the power of Jesus.
- Respect your privacy by refusing to share, sell, or rent your name, address, or any other personal information.
- Contract with an independent accounting firm to conduct an annual audit of our finances, and make these financial reports available to all who request them, along with our IRS Form 990.
- Should we receive more contributions than needed for a specified project, excess gifts are directed to meet a similar pressing need.
The Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County is a member of Citygate Network, an accredited charity of the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and is highly rated on both Charity Navigator and Guidestar. We also participate in Commitment to Transparency. We adhere to the highest standards of Christian stewardship and ethical financial practices.
