Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County is excited to announce Mitchell Ellis as Interim Chief Executive Officer, effective November 2nd. Mitchell spent 13 years with the Fort Worth Police Department before becoming a successful entrepreneur, founding a boutique hotel in Glen Rose and most recently serving as Chief Strategy Officer for two pipeline services companies. He brings vast experience managing teams, overseeing financial strategy, and setting and reaching major goals. Mitchell has a deep, genuine love for UGM-TC. Having served on our board since 2024 and actively leading our security initiatives, he is already a cherished part of our leadership team. He is also wonderfully known for his personal heart for discipleship, his marriage ministry, his provision of emergency housing, and his hands-on support for families in crisis.
