Father Rogers Meredith

Chaplain

Rogers was born in Austin, TX, and it was there he rediscovered his faith and love for the Lord. He met his wife, Marlene, while attending Dayspring Chapel. During their time at Dayspring, he first discerned the call to ministry, a path that would lead him across the North American continent.

In the summer of 1999, Rogers and Marlene left Austin for Toronto, Ontario and seminary. After completing his studies, they left for Sand Springs, Oklahoma, where he pastored his first church.

In 2014, they returned to Texas and soon began attending St. Phillips Anglican Church (ACC). There, Rogers was ordained to the Diaconate. Since being priested, he has served at several Anglican Parishes, including St. Andrews (ACC) of Round Rock as Curate, St. Chads (APA) of San Antonio as Assistant Priest, and St. Francis Anglican Church of Austin as Interim Rector.

When he is not at work, Father Rogers enjoys spending time riding motorcycles, gardening, reading, and traveling with Marlene and their daughter, Naomi.
