Dana joined the UGM-TC team back in July of 2021 as a member of the Development Team and also assisting in the Accounting Department. Prior to coming to UGM-TC, Dana spent 40 years in Early Childhood Education, eventually shifting to specializing in Children’s Ministry. In 2020, Dana felt that God was calling her serve in a role that would help address and meet the needs of his “grown children” who are experiencing homelessness or have found themselves unable to secure the basic needs of life. During the last half of 2020, Dana served for 6 months at a women’s shelter in Azle, TX and it was there that she developed a profound awareness to the great need there is for helping those within the homeless communities, those needing life change from homelessness, addictions and loss of hope. Dana is excited to be in the role of leading the volunteer community as they answer the call to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
