Growing up in a Christian family in Virginia, she felt drawn to missions from a young age. Her experiences on mission trips opened her eyes to the deep need for compassionate medical care in underserved communities, eventually leading her to pursue nursing at Virginia Commonwealth University and later a master’s degree from Vanderbilt University.
Her career path, from trauma surgery to prison healthcare, has been anything but ordinary. Yet each step has affirmed her trust in God’s perfect timing. Now she brings her heart, experience, and faith to Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County and Healing Shepherd Clinic, where every workday feels like a new mission trip.
To her, healing means more than physical care. It’s about restoring the mind and spirit too. She’s passionate about creating a Christ-centered, patient-focused space where people feel seen, valued, and empowered to take charge of their well-being. When she’s not serving the community, you might find her traveling, connecting with friends, or unwinding with scripture and worship music.
