Easter 2017 at UGM-TC!
Posted: April 17, 2017
Easter is always a very special time at UGM-TC, a season for renewal and new life. We are able to honor and celebrate Jesus’s death and resurrection throughout the whole Easter season and this year was no exception to that.
This Easter, all of our children were able to participate in an Easter egg hunt outside, as well as a party with crafts, yummy snacks with a special visit from the Easter Bunny himself. Each child also received an Easter basket of their own filled with wonderful treats!
In the Dining Hall, we had plenty of delicious meals served as well! Residents and guests were treated to a spaghetti lunch on Good Friday. On Easter Sunday they had a large and delicious brunch, allowing everyone to share in friendship and fellowship! Thanks to our new Scott Walker Women and Families Services Building we served more people than ever this Easter!
Most importantly, Father Stanley led chapel services on Sunday for our residents and guests to share the good news. The inspirational story of Easter brings faith, hope and light into the lives of our residents and guests.
A very special thanks to everyone who helped make Easter so special this year. Whether you donated Easter baskets, provided a child with a new outfit, hosted egg hunts, served meals, or provided a monetary donation we could not have done it without you. Thanks to friends like you, men, women and children at UGM-TC were able to enjoy a blessed Easter.
